Il Riccio Anacapri
Restaurant Il Riccio is the latest addition to Capri Palace Hotel & Spa's list of exclusive amenities. This sea-edge restaurant and beach club, which is perched on the cliffs, just meters away from the Grotta Azzurra, is the result of the recent renovation and restyling of the historic island eatery, Add' 'O Riccio.
The cuisine served at Capri Palace Hotel & Spa's Il Riccio is, as it was in the past, inspired by the sea and the Mediterranean, with traditional maritime dishes brilliantly interpreted by the talented young chef, Andrea Migliaccio. Freshly caught fish, shell fish, seafood, Gragnano pasta and a spectacular fish buffet, can be enjoyed both at lunch and at dinner.
The restaurant's interiors, designed by Marco De Luca, feature classic Mediterranean furnishings, hand painted majolica tiles, and a crisp white and blue color scheme. This decor is complemented by Paolo Sandulli's sculptures and by Rosario Remino's beautiful ceramic mermaids.
For those keen to combine fine dining with a day beside the sea, Il Riccio's elegant Beach Club has a number of small and secluded sun decks, created amidst the rocks, and has private access to the sea, where clients can take a dip in the crystal clear waters which lap the shores of Anacapri. Those arriving by sea will find the boatman, Arcangelo, waiting to accompany them to the restaurant aboard his characteristic wooden boat.
