Lanterna Verde – Piano bar-live music By night

The tavern bar of the Hotel San Michele, the Lanterna Verde, was entirely renovated and refurbished in the year 2002, exactly 50 years after its first opening. Over the years the tavern has come to represent part of the history of hospitality in Anacapri, a symbol of that era in which the legend of Capri spread around the world.
The building was constructed without the use of machinery, dug manually out of the chalky white rock face.
Entering the Lanterna Verde one has the impression of being immersed in the magical atmosphere of Capri by night, as if seated beneath a star specked sky between the cliffs and the sea.

The wine cellar houses the best of national and international wines and a range of superb fortified wines and spirits.
