Much more than the latest vacation pursuit, Capri Relax's tourist fishing is a unique experience which gives visitors to Capri the chance to explore the sea around the island, along the Amalfi Coast and towards the Campanella Marine Reserve in the company of highly experienced, local fishermen.

Passengers board the "San Gerardo" 13m traditional wooden fishing boat; built in the prestigious Aprea of Sorrento shipyard and equipped with sundeck, sun awning, shower, kitchen and toilet, and get ready to depart for a day of adventure and the thrill of the catch.

Whilst observing the skipper and his equip prepare the nets, and awaiting the catch of fish and crustaceans, the guest crew have the opportunity to learn some of the secrets of this ancient profession and listen to the fishermen's fascinating tales of heroic sailors and the mysteries of the gulf of Naples.

Then there are the moments of peaceful relaxation, spent bathing in the sunshine and savoring a selection of delicious appetizers and freshly caught fish cooked according to the age old maritime tradition. Capri Relax organises tourist fishing for groups of up to 10 passengers. No experience of fishing is required; the only requisite for guest crew members being a love of the sea.
