High season officially begins May 1st and ends September 30th. The weather is beautiful in May, June, and September, and you might prefer to come during this period if you want to avoid the crowds of tourists who arrive on the island in the warmest months of July and August. For nature lovers, the flora and fauna are at their most beautiful in late March and throughout April.
