You will certainly not miss one of the most beautiful walks in Capri. The route dates back to the Roman times and was built to link Capodimonte (the only access to Anacapri until the last century) to the Migliera belvedere where the remains of Imperial-age buildings were found.

We recommend you to leave from Piazza Vittoria by taking the small street (Via Caposcuro, then Via Migliera) on the left of the chairlift station. The basically level route, winds through an amazing landscape, among the slopes of Monte Solaro and the orchards and vineyards of the first houses of the town, and finishes with the belvedere with a splendid view of Punta Carena. Going up along a path on the left, you can reach another splendid belvedere, overlooking the southern coast of the island, and the far-off Faraglioni.
For the less audacious and those who have enough of walking, there is a restaurant "Da Gelsomina" a few metres from the belvedere.
You can then either go on along a path leading to the Torre della Guardia and Torre di Materita, go back to Piazza Vittoria along the same route or take one of the small streets, that go downhill towards Caprile, Via G. Orlandi and the rest of the historic centre to discover some more spectacular views of the landscape of Anacapri.
