Casa Mariantonia, situated in the center of Anacapri, is a historic hotel, the origins of which date back to the early 1900's.

Completely restructured in 2007, Casa Mariantonia provides beautiful accommodation in 6 tastefully decorated bedrooms and 2 suites all of which offer a full range of modern amenities including air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV LCD, WI-FI internet connectivity, direct phone line, and safety deposit box. Guest rooms and suite all lead out on to 'spacious private terraces overlooking the garden from where to admire the setting of the sun each evening.

Mariantonia Farace was one of the first islanders to offer hospitality to visitors to Capri; the warmth with which she welcomed guests was greatly appreciated by such illustrious personages as Alberto Moravia, Axel Munthe and Totò.

It was custom for Signora Mariantonia to offer her guests a glass or two of the famous Limoncello di Capri. Legend has it that it was in this very house that the celebrated liqueur was born: prepared with fruit from the lemon grove still growing in the garden today. The property is, in fact, surrounded by a vast garden filled with citrus trees and the lush subtropical vegetation typical of the Mediterranean. Guests sojourning at Casa Mariantonia are granted the use of a well equipped gym.

Casa Mariantonia is synonymous with relaxation and comfort. The dwelling boasts a superb view of Monte Solaro, the mountain after which the villa was once named (Villa Monte Solaro), and out across the sea towards the island of Ischia.
