Lido del Faro Anacapri

Ten minutes away from the center of Anacapri, one finds the bathing establishment and restaurant Lido del Faro. In 1971, the D'Esposito family built the Lido out of the jagged rocks of the typical Capri coastline, careful so as not to alter in any way the beauty of the surrounding scenery.
The restaurant, with terrace overlooking the sea under the lighthouse of Punta Carena, is renowned for its typical cuisine and seafood specialities.
Don't miss, as a starter, the hors-d'oevres of mini pizzas, marinated salmon and anchovies, prawn and rocket salad,
... then as a first course, you can choose from linguine with mussels and courgette flowers, seafood risotto, squid and potatoes, tubettoni with limpets, linguine with prawns and rocket, homemade tasty Capri-style ravioli,
... and as a main course, grilled baby squid, local fish cooked with tomatoes and herbs, deep-fried fresh fish, pan-fried local prawns, grilled fresh fish,
... as a dessert, the delicious "Capri" chocolate-almond or lemon cakes or homemade ice-cream. If you like pizza, try our various specialities cooked in a traditional wood-burning oven.
The restaurant is also open in the evenings during the weekends in June and July, and every night throughout the month of August.
