Cooking Mama

This is a MUST when visiting Sorrento! The atmosphere is a cozy, family owned location. Salvatore showed us how to make different kinds of pasta, sauce, and tiramisu. We also got a sample of things that mama made for us! Everything was delicious including the dishes that we made. Such a wonderful experience and I would highly, highly recommend!

Really fun experience with Salvatore. Have always wanted to learn how to make pasta and a good tomato sauce. A well paced and fun morning with lunch and plenty of wine to follow. Authentic location and warm family welcome from Salvatore and, of course, his ‘mama’. Perfect Italian experience.

This was such a fun and delicious experience! The class was a small group of 9, which made it easy to see the steps. We spent about 3.5 hours making pasta, sauce and tiramisu and then eating. It’s also a beautiful building and space. Such a great experience- would definitely do again!

We enjoyed a fun class with Salvatore making pasta, sauce and our own tiramisu for dessert. While we prepared our dough, Mama Nunzia was getting the appetizers ready. Everything was fantastic! Bruschetta, parmigiana, fresh pepper salad and wine! Salvatore was a patient and good humoured teacher. 10/10!
