A terrace by the sea and, beneath a little wooden pergola, just a handful of tables and chairs. Snack bar Da Antonio is one of the few places in Capri which has remained almost entirely untouched by the passage of time.
A place in which to experience the magical atmosphere of bygone Capri, and enjoy the simple pleasures of a day by the sea.

Located close to the lighthouse, on the beach of Punta Carena, in Anacapri, the snack bar has two terraces: one drenched in the Mediterranean sun, the other shaded by the island's traditional "pagliarelle".

Da Antonio's Caponata has acquired legendary status on the island, as has the snack bar's white wine with peaches. Those in the know linger until late, so as to enjoy an aperitif whilst watching the sun setting over the water and the island's little fishing boats heading out to sea.

A very familar place, not so confortable if you are looking for total relax, but the "caponata caprese" they serve is one of the best memories of our trip in Capri!!!

We will certainly visit again when we are next on Capri. This was perfect, as we visited during a huge thunder and rain storm and really wanted a good viewpoint. We were surprised that neither bar/restaurant either side was open. The sandwiches here were lovely and the service was wonderfully friendly and receptive to us sitting and watching the storm clouds and flash floods roll in! We can't wait to return another day in the warm sunshine :) - we certainly won't be checking whether next door is open.

This a more simple eatery. They had sandwiches and Salads on the menu. Not an overly extensive menu but enough for lunch. The prices were reasonable and it a good view of the sea. Its a good option in terms of price compared to the high-end restaurant that sits below it.

We are 3 girlfriends. Service is amazing. we ordered wine and they put it in a way we could take it down. No need to pay until the end. total trust. best place to see the sunset. we got a spot on a corner of his bar and he put a table out of nowhere for us. crips for free with the drinks...we wish we could live Geoundhog day...
