I only feel embarrassment for them! At 2:30 PM, my wife and I asked for two coffees, at the counter, the answer was: "it's not coffee time," with little grace and to the disbelief of everyone present. I love Capri and the inhabitants of a place where I have been many times, especially for artistic reasons, but I had never encountered so little courtesy. I hope it was an isolated incident, the result of the fatigue of the moment.

Everyone is kind, attentive and helpful, but what you perceive above all is an authentic courtesy, provided by people who know how to host and who do it with passion and professionalism. The food is truly delicious: traditional dishes cooked with care, with simple and genuine flavors. In a Capri that is inevitably changing, Da Peppino preserves something reassuring: the smile with which you are welcomed, the sincere kindness and those flavors of the past that still tell the soul of the island. A place where you have the feeling of rediscovering the most authentic Capri.

I asked for caprese ravioli, I received lemon ravioli, 8 mini pieces for 18 euros, a canned Coke for 6 euros, a bit of cheese but to save money they put it on themselves, a water with a slice of lemon for 9 euros... At the register, neither a hello nor a thank you... I understand that the prices are high, but at least I would like to eat well and be full... I do not recommend it to anyone!
