Ho soggiornato all’Hotel Villa Blu Capri dal 27 al 29 giugno: un’esperienza che definire deludente è un eufemismo. Alla consegna delle chiavi ci è stata assegnata una stanza angusta, senza luce naturale, in quella che sembrava un seminterrato. Per evitare di rovinare il soggiorno abbiamo accettato un “upgrade” di 500 € a notte (circa 2000 € in totale per due notti). Nonostante il costo, i disservizi sono stati numerosi e inaccettabili: tende che non oscuravano, pulizie approssimative con cuscini e copriletto abbandonati sul divano, rubinetto lasciato aperto dal personale con rischio di allagamento e, come ciliegina finale, nessuna acqua corrente la mattina della partenza. Ma il vero scandalo è arrivato dopo: più di un mese e diversi solleciti via mail senza nemmeno la cortesia di una risposta. Un silenzio che dimostra quanto poco la direzione tenga alla soddisfazione e al rispetto dei propri ospiti. Per una struttura che si definisce “5 stelle”, il comportamento è stato semplicemente imbarazzante. Sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque si aspetti professionalità e attenzione verso il cliente.

Avoid basement rooms with the smell of mold

We had booked a room for 2 nights at this 5* hotel. The classic room turned out to be in the basement, but with a window/door out to a tiny terrace. The smell of mold was really bad and we could not stay in that room. To get another room we had to pay 350€ extra per night. Total rip off, as we had already paid 550€ per night. We asked to talk to the manager, and we also asked to get our money back so we could stay at another hotel. None of these was possible. The other room was much better, but far from worth the price. It was mold in the shower, but at least the room did not smell of mold. It pretty much ruined the start of our holiday and we will of course never come back to this hotel or recommend to anybody. The location is quite good. We did not try the restaurant as we wanted as little as possible to do with the hotel.

We went to eat lunch at Villa Blu Capri on July 21, 2025. The restaurant had a cute, charming atmosphere. The daily menu specials included homemade lasagna and fettuccine alfredo with chicken. The food was good and our server was friendly.. We ordered lasagna, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, bottled water, coke zero, and peach tea. The shock came when our bill arrived. The service fee was $19. This is a 35% upcharge! The meal cost $41 and then we had a $19 service fee. A mandatory $19 service fee is ridiculous. What a ripoff! Think twice before eating here.

Non all altezza delle 5 stelle dichiarate

Ho soggiornato per 3 notti al Villa Blu Capri e purtroppo devo dire che l esperienza non è stata all altezza delle aspettative per una struttura che si presenta come un 5 stelle. La rubinetteria del bagno era datata e mal funzionante più simile a quella che si trova in un hotel di categoria inferiore (2stelle max) niente da dire sull arredamento. Piscina con mosaico rovinato sulla seduta dei "lettini" di cemento...inutilizzabili. Lettini nel complesso scomodissimi Idromassaggio non funzionante Così come il WiFi. Il personale molto gentile ma il servizio complessivo non ha giustificato il prezzo nè la classificazione della struttura. Non lo consiglierei a chi cerca un vero hotel di lusso forse può andar bene per chi ha aspettative più basse e cerca solo una base comoda sull isola.
