Pizzeria Aumm Aumm

Siamo tornati in questa pizzeria dopo due anno da neosposi con amici e non possiamo che riconfermare la nostra opinione. Salvatore da perfetto padrone di casa ci ha portato ad assaggiare un po tutti i suoi piatti, dall antipasto alla pasta fatta in casa tipica caprese, continuando con una una pasta alla nerano sublime e una linguina all ‘astice che lasciava in bocca tutto il sapore di mare. Superlativa la pizza che solo a Napoli sanno fare: si scioglieva in bocca. Salvatore e la sua famiglia con quel tocco di stile, empatia gentilezza, ha quel qualcosa in più che ti fa pensare di essere al posto giusto al momento giusto, un mix tra cucina e passione da provare per credere! Siamo stati benissimo e certamente sarà la nostra tappa obbligatoria quando torneremo a capri! Questa nn è cucina, questa è una poesia e loro le corde le sanno suonare benissimo! Grazie perché questo posto per noi è casa!

While the pizza was acceptable it was overpriced- 16 euro for a very, very thin ham, mushroom, artichoke pizza- 2 slices each! 6 euro cover charge for 2 was over the top! We were the only ones in the restaurant at 1 pm on a Friday. We saw no information about cover charge! 8 euro for a medium size “on tap” beer is again way overpriced . Tap beer is always much less than bottled! Imagine they only stay open because of takeaway service! Never again!

Nous avons tellement aimé ce restaurant que nous y sommes retournés deux fois pendant notre séjour à Anacapri ! L’ambiance est chaleureuse, les serveurs sont adorables et très accueillants. Mention spéciale à Salvatore, qui a été particulièrement attentionné et sympathique. Les plats sont copieux, délicieux et servis rapidement, ce qui est assez rare sur Capri. Même si les cartes des restaurants de l’île se ressemblent beaucoup, ici on sent une vraie différence : qualité, générosité et cadre agréable. Une très belle adresse à ne pas manquer !

You can’t tell from the restaurant front as it is quite plain. But once you go inside you’ll be led to a garden filled with lovely tables. The service was wonderful. We had caprese salad and Margherita pizza with house wine. All really good. I would definitely recommend this place.
