L'Agave, located right on the cliff edge, on the path leading to the Tragara viewing point and the Faraglioni, boasts one of Capri's most enchanting views of the Bay of Marina Piccola.

Romance on tap

In the evenings, a particularly romantic atmosphere is created by the soft background music and the flickering lights of the small fishing boats anchored in the bay below.

Not just ravioli

Whilst traditional island treats like Capri's famous Ravioli Capresi are a permanent fixture on the menu, gourmands will want to try L'Agave's own delicious creations, prepared using the area's abundant fish and seafood.

Don't leave Capri without having tasted L'Agave's "Paccheri alla Brunella", an amazing pasta dish made with mussels, clams and scampi

An experience to forget. The food and service were modest. There are much better options on Capri.

L’Agave doesn’t disappoint

A Little Bit of Heaven on the Isle of Capri

Just back from another summer getaway to my favorite place in the world - Villa Brunella Capri - which just happens to be crowned by one of my favorite restaurants on the island - L'Agave. Without doubt, the most spectacular view, accompanied by the warmest, friendliest staff (special thank you to Ciro, Daniele & Antonio) serving mouthwatering Caprese dishes, each with a unique presentation as prepared by Chef Marco Russo. I enjoyed three wonderful dining experiences at L'Agave during my most recent stay, once with a group of friends for lunch (sharing bites, wine and the panoramic pool view), and twice for dinner, a celebration unto itself. When the sun goes down, the lights go low and the surrounding hillside starts sparkling. Soaking in the summer breeze from the opened windows, listening to the beautifully curated music, and watching Chef Russo meticulously prepare each dish is only surpassed when each plate arrives. I personally recommend the Insalata Caprese (with the special touch of toasted almonds and basil pesto), the Ravioli Caprese (caciotta cheese and marjoram!), and the Linguine alla Puttanesca - the sweet flavorburst of local summer tomatoes a gift in each dish. Grazie Mille L'Agave - ci vediamo presto!

After leaving the Piazzetta of Capri and sauntering through the elegant shopping area of Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Camerelle, one continues along the picturesque lane of Via Tragara to find, after just a few minutes, L'Agave. The walk from the Piazzetta takes roughly 12 minutes.
