Avoid this hotel: they refused a refund for canceled ferries, even when Booking.com asked.

I could not reach the hotel because all ferries were canceled. I contacted them immediately, and even Booking.com reached out to help solve the issue, but the hotel refused to refund my money. Absolutely no flexibility or empathy for an unavoidable situation. Disappointing and greedy. Highly do not recommend!

We spent a truly unforgettable weekend at the Villa Certosa Boutique Hotel, an authentic oasis of tranquility in Capri, far from the chaos and perfect for those who wish to relax and enjoy the island in total serenity. One of the aspects that we appreciated the most is certainly the heated pool, open 24 hours a day: a true rarity in Capri and an incredible added value. Being able to treat ourselves to a swim at any time of the day, even in the evening, immersed in the tranquility of the property, was a truly special experience. But what makes the difference is above all the hospitality. A special thanks goes to Ms. Carmen, for her extraordinary kindness, availability, and attention. She welcomed and pampered us with authentic cordiality, making us feel immediately at home. The property is elegant, well-kept, and welcoming, but it is the combination of details and attention that makes the stay something to remember. We left with only one certainty: we will return. A little corner of paradise in Capri that I absolutely recommend. Very well-deserved 5 stars!

We arrived in Capri in the heatwave of 2026 after 5 sweltering days in Rome and Positano. A 5-minute walk from the Piazetta brought us to the door of Villa Certosa for the first time, and it was like entering heaven. Modern yet classic, peaceful and quiet, the clean, smart design was beautiful, roomy, and well-appointed, and they did not hesitate to turn on the air conditioning to U.S. standards. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Most wonderful were the desk staff and the incredibly accommodating manager. Adolfo and Serena(with the most amazing smile) were a pleasure and so helpful with directions and reservations. The gentlemen who served us a delicious breakfast and an occasional aperitif were exceptional and fun. The pool area was incredible, and we felt like we had our own private spa. The web photos hardly do it justice. We would most certainly stay again.
