Villa Marina Capri Hotel & Spa

Everything about our stay at Villa Marina was outstanding. All staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Our room was just beautiful!!! Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Best dinner of our three week trip away in Europe. Thank you so much!!

Capri has been on the top of my bucket list for a number of years. Before, my trip I read about Hotel Villa Marina Capri in Forbes, as one of the top hotels in Capri. I decided, it was time to go. While the concept of 7 stars is not officially recognized, I would still rate this resort 7 stars as it provides an unparalleled level of luxury, service and amenities. The location is absolutely spectacular overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of Capri. There are gardens and flowers everywhere - such a treat. When you arrive in your beautiful room, you’ll find a personalized note from Valero, the hotel director with some sweet treats. The hotel room has everything you need and more – a private sun terrace with sunbeds, tables, chairs and a great view. The hotel restaurant ZIQÙ has sumptuous cuisine, much better than some restaurants in Capri that I tried which were overpriced and not worth it. At ZIQÙ you get value for your money. My stay was truly memorable because of the staff at this hotel, and I will certainly return. Before, I arrived, I had discussions with Ciara, Bianca and Pasquale about activities. They were so warm, welcoming and accommodating. I would also like to thank, Chaturang, Flavia, Shone, Gianluca, Tiriana and of course Valero for the personalized service and attention. Before, my departure, I found a gift from Valero with a parting personalized hand-written note again. I was very touched. Thank you! Lastly, I would like to thank Captain Mario and the staff for organizing a private boat tour for me to go all around Capri and Anacapri. At first, you might think it’s expensive and that you��re better off doing cheaper public tours. But you’re wrong! It’s more than worth it and there is nothing like it. I am a globetrotter, and I feel like it was one of the experiences of a lifetime. Mario was so knowledgeable, obviously from Capri. We saw so many grottos up close, and I jumped into the gorgeous water to swim a couple of times. At one point, I was in the water with the Faraglioni behind me - sublime! You simply don’t have this kind of luxury in public boat tours. I love Capri & Hotel Villa Marina Capri (One of the most beautiful places I've been to).

We often travel and have stayed at several hotels in Capri, but Villa Marina really surprised us. The rooms are spacious, well cared for, with a sea view that alone is worth the stay. The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant, never too formal. The restaurant was fully booked, so we couldn’t try it, but we spent a lovely evening enjoying cocktails at the bar and some relaxation at the spa. Gianluca at the bar is friendly, attentive, and really knows his craft: excellent cocktails served with a stunning sunset view. The spa was a real experience. A calm, welcoming environment, and the massage with Matteo was one of the best we’ve ever had — he knows exactly where to put his hands! We thank them for the five-star attention we received throughout our stay. A place that stays in the heart. We will definitely come back. Thank you !!!

The staff, gardens, rooms and location of this hotel are all outstanding. The staff is absolutely first rate and we appreciated the ease of communication. From picking us up at the marina, recommending restaurants, arranging taxis, shuttle service to Capri and lovely amenities in the room , this hotel works hard to make you feel valued and welcome. The gardens and grounds are absolutely stunning with beautiful views of the water. Roberta at the front desk gave us a very helpful review of the island, listened to our input and gave us excellent recommendations on how to spend our time in Capri and Anacapri. (Tip: get up early to avoid the day trip crowds!) Ziqu for dinner was exceptional - perhaps the best overall meal we had in our 10 days in Italy. Biagio the sommelier gave us excellent recommendations for local wines to complement every course. His passion for providing exceptional service was evident. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast buffet and ala carte items like omelets, which were not quite as good as the hotel restaurant lunch/dinner or breakfasts we’d enjoyed at our other hotels in Italy. If everything else at the hotel was an A+, we would rate the breakfast a B. The wait staff however, provided high quality service and were warm and genuine. Highly recommend this hotel!!!
