Villa Verde

A very enjoyable dinner at Villa Verde in Capri! We had a very pleasant evening at Villa Verde, with a lively atmosphere and a menu offering plenty of interesting choices. The highlight of the dinner was definitely the pasta with truffles — rich, aromatic, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. One of the best dishes of the evening! 🍝🍄 The burrata was also excellent: fresh, creamy and full of flavor. The calzone was very good as well, nicely prepared and satisfying. Some dishes, however, were less impressive. The Iberian pork was average compared with the rest of the meal; we expected a little more tenderness and character from such a premium ingredient. The tuna and salmon tartare was also quite standard — fresh enough, but without anything particularly memorable in terms of seasoning or presentation. Overall, Villa Verde remains a very enjoyable place for dinner in Capri. The atmosphere, location and several standout dishes make it worth visiting. I would definitely return, especially for that fantastic truffle pasta and the burrata. A good Capri dining experience with a few dishes that truly shine! 🇮🇹✨

The place is very nice but quite crowded; however, it is enjoyable if you are willing to share a party with friends. The table setting is very well done with colorful fine porcelain plates paired with delicate glassware and goblets. The restaurant is well frequented by tourists looking for a party, and the staff contributes to making the dinner cheerful with small shows featuring wigs and tambourines that engage everyone. The food seems almost to take a back seat to the music and dancing on the tables, but all in all, it is not bad. I would make the pasta and potatoes less "red" and with more provola, as tradition dictates, but in the context, it was good.

A spacious venue with a large outdoor area. Friendly staff who are quick to meet customer requests, with fast and efficient service. The food is good, the menu is varied, the prices are medium/high but overall in line with the reputation of Capri. Very popular with foreigners who are welcomed warmly, cheerfully, and with a touch of folklore to make them feel appreciated. The overall atmosphere is lovely.
