The easiest way to visit the island of Capri during your holidays in Sorrento is this group tour that includes transport by ferry and a guided tour of both villages on the island.

Start your day by departing from the port of Sorrento by fast ferry. The cruise to Capri, which takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at the port of Capri, Marina Grande, take a shuttle bus for a short 20-minute drive to Anacapri. Explore the town known for its picturesque surroundings.

After the guided tour, take some free time to wander around. You might explore local shops or have lunch. Head to Capri for the second part of the trip. Follow your guide to the famous Piazzetta and visit the Gardens of Augustus or the Saint James' Charter house on your own. Walk through the charming Via Camerelle up to Belvedere Tragara. After the guided tour, take some leisure time in Capri. Board the ferry from Capri and return to Sorrento in the late afternoon.

This is a Great way to see both sites with a convenient break for lunch in-between! Carmela was wonderful! She knows these sites so well which really facilitated efficient touring to the must see spots! She keeps a good pace up but you need to cover a lot of ground to see both sites so it worked well. You can rest on the ride back to town!

Let Nino do the stressful driving and just enjoy the towns! Close in parking will minimize long walks!

Nino was the perfect driver to these 3 towns. He kept us all laughing with his great sense of humor. Took the scenic route out of Sorrento..less traffic! He gave us the important information for each stop and let us go do our own thing. He also gave us the option to have lunch on the waterfront in Amalfie.
